Blue Slate Zephyr 5/15/2006
By Jacinta Whitcome
The Blue Slate Zephyr sweeps along
Upon your cheek it whispers a song
Beauty is a wave on which you belong
Every wave set forth with one strike of life’s gong
Trouble partitioned, splinters of pain
Is that which need to burn within loves flame
I give you all that I am the wild, the tame
And allow the Blue Slate Zephyr to breathe within, to breathe again
Blue…the color of the sea reflecting the sky
Slate…stone smoothed by the ebb and flow of the tide
Zephyr…the wind that turns the wheel of time
Let the Blue Slate Zephyr…Awaken within your mind
---Musical Interlude---
Sitting amongst the clouds
Dreams are hung without doubt
Let the matrix drop and you’ll figure out
Untangle the rope and haul the traps out
Observe the translucence of hanging by stitch
Laugh when life casts you into a ditch
Cup your hands and take a cool, clean sip
Peer into to the water and see the omnipotent
Blue…the color of the sea reflecting the sky
Slate…stone smoothed by the ebb and flow of the tide
Zephyr…the wind that turns the wheel of time
Let the Blue Slate Zephyr…Awaken within your mind
---Musical Interlude---
