Jude was the Best Dog in the World that I'd ever met...in fact...we believe that he was an incarnation of Buddha or something like that. He died in 2006. He had been in world about 14 years. Now his ashes are spread on Revere Beach, MA and in the 100 Acre Lot (JCC Park) of Jamestown, NY. Into the ocean and wood he loved so much. Shaharazad...fruit boy...JB...see you on the flip side brothah.
Taos Blues: Eulogy for Jude
2006
VERSE 1:
Hey Jude where’d you go last night
Into the Taos night
My flying ferilito
Fly, fly, fly,
CHORUS 1:
To the best friend I ever had
A most gentle soul
It makes me sad
To say good bye
VERSE 2:
Shahrazad
You had eyes like a prince
You used them to convince
When there’d be a stare down
You’d have your cowboy hat
I my meanest frown
CHORUS 2:
Adios, buen viaje,
buena suerte, mi amigo
bye bye… fly
BRIDGE: Oh my boy
You taught me to really live
You taught me how to give
Taught me how to give
Oh my boy
You brought this world so much grace
Stood in a noble place
Such a gentle face
VERSE 3:
Hey Jude/ Don’t be afraid
You were made to/ Go out and run free
We’ll remember to let you into our hearts
As you will start to make it better
Hey Jude…hey Jude…hey Jude
VERSE 1-CHORUS 1
